Andrea Navedo

Andrea Navedo, an American writer and actress. Her career began in soap operas One Life to Live, Guiding Light. Later she played a variety of supporting roles on television shows that aired in primetime. Andrea Navedo was born 10 October 1977, at The Bronx New York United States. Navedo started her professional acting career in daytime dramas. In 1995 through 1997, Navedo appeared on ABC's One Life to Live in the role of Linda Soto. In 1999 she joined the crew of the CBS soap show Guiding Light as Theresa Sandoval. In 1996 she had a very small part in Girl 6 and then went on to appear in New York Undercover. Navedo was a co-star in Double Take (2001), an action film, as well as on Washington Heights (2002). Navedo was a regular character on the NBC Crime Show Law & Order, as Detective Ana Cordova from 2001-2004. Later he starred as Detective Ana Cordova in Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages. Navedo played in a range of films, including El Cantante (The Cantante) as well as Remember Me. Navedo is also one of the recurring characters on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (2011-2013) and How to Make It in America Golden Boy. Superfast! was her first film. The Fast and the Furious parody released in 2015 as a satire of the Fast and Furious series of movies. Navedo started her acting profession as an actor in daytime dramas. From 1995 to 1997 she portrayed Linda Soto on ABC's soap opera One Life to Live. In 1999 she joined the cast of CBS soap show Guiding Light as Theresa Sandoval. In 1996, she made her debut in film with a role in Girl 6. She later played a role as a guest for New York Undercover (1996) as well as The District. Navedo appeared as a co-star in Double Take (2002), the comedy action film.
